Requirements: 1. Mugs must be made from the slab stencils and have an inlay line drawing and an 3D element. 2. Mugs must have a working and specialized handle. 4. Slab should no be thicker than 1/4 inch.Use a rib tool to smooth out the canvas texture. 5. You will make a pair. Meaning you will make two mugs that go together through a consistent theme. 6. Draw them on the Mug Handout, attach in your Art Notebook and get approved before starting.

How to make a Slab Mug:
Steps: 1. Roll out your slab to an even thickness of about 1/4 inch.
2. Choose which Mug style you want then trace out your Mug Wall.
3. Stand up your wall, score and slip the edges and blend
4. Roll another slab, place the mug wall on the slab and trace the inside circle.
5. Score the inside circle and blend. Add support coils to the inside seam and the bottom of the Mug.
6. Build your handle. Make sure to score and slip before attaching to the body of the mug. 7. Start inlay line drawing and 3D, Put your initials and period on the bottom.
